CO2 Laser

xTools P2 55W CO2 laser from ca.xTools.com. For software I use both Lightburn and xTool Studio. Lightburn is used mainly for project design although it can be used to output to the P2. xTool Studio I use mainly for output to the laser. Lightburn is by far a better tool for design work but unfortunately the P2 cameras can only be accessed from xTool Studio and the cameras are useful for positioning of images onto items to be lasered.

Working area:
600mm x 300mm (24in x 12in)

CNC Router

My CNC router tool is an X-Carve 1000mm from Inventables (Inventables has a new Canadian site here). The CNC spindle is a DeWalt 611 compact router. I also have a 28W diode laser module from J Tech Photonics which attaches to the front of the spindle. I use Lightburn for output to this laser module.

Working area
900mm x 900mm (36in x 36in)

UV Resin Printer

My eufyMake E1 is able to print full colour on most materials – wood, acrylic, leather, metal, etc. It’s basically an inkjet printer that uses UV light cured acrylic resin as the ink. With the rotary attachment I can print on cups and bottles. The E1 can print textures up to 5mm deep.
